Joe and Jeanette McHeffey opened Nettie's Country Bakery in 2014. When building the bakery, the same joy that came from the creation of handcrafted baked goods, together with a meaningful experience for those who visit, anchored the overall vision. That vision has expanded beyond the brick and mortar with the launch of Nettie's Craft Brownies with nationwide shipping and an e-commerce brand that is quickly expanding.

Family Bakery
Nettie's is a family-owned business started by Joe and Jeanette (Nettie) McHeffey. Their four children have played different roles in the bakery over time and continue to contribute to it's success.
Brownie & Cake Bites
Nettie's Craft Brownies was created in 2019 when we decided to cut our classic brownies into bite-sized pieces and hand-dip them in chocolate. In 2024 we introduced our cake bite line with a variety of flavors dipped in chocolate, the first being our popular rainbow cookie. Our brownie and cake bites are a hit at the bakery and the rest of the country is quickly discovering them.
